Barbara Goldner is the wife of Brian Goldner, was an American business executive director and film producer. He was the CEO of the American toy and media company Hasbro from 2008 until his death in early October 2021. Goldner began his career as a marketing assistant at a Long Island healthcare company in 1985. By 1997, Goldner was in charge of JWT’s Entertainment Accountants Division, but Bandai attracted him.

Goldner joined Hasbro in 2000 and was quickly recognized as a visionary in the industry. He was named CEO in 2008 and President in 2015. He was instrumental in transforming the company into a global games and entertainment leader, expanding beyond toys and games to television, movies, and digital games, including the 2019 acquisition of independent entertainment studio Entertainment One. in 2019 for $ 3.8 billion.
