Gooden began his career on Vine in 2013, making six-second comedy sketches, after dropping out of community college for a second time. He quickly amassed thousands of followers. Gooden notably created a popular six-second video in which he sees a sign reading “Road Work Ahead” in Arizona, and jokingly replies, “Uh, yeah, I sure hope it does”, the video having 10 million loops on Vine before its closure. Gooden also appeared in Camp Unplug, a show on Vine produced by Karyn Spencer and Jeremy Cabalona and written by Vine creators. After Vine was shut down by its parent company, Twitter, Gooden began posting longer videos on YouTube in the commentary genre. He has over 3.84 million subscribers on the platform as of October 2022.

Gooden frequently collaborates with Danny Gonzalez, another former Viner who became a YouTuber, who he met at Camp Unplug, a series created by Vine.

In 2019, Gooden toured the United States with Gonzalez and another fellow YouTube creator, Kurtis Conner, on their “We Are Two Different People Tour”, which was described as a theatrical comedy performance. In the announcement video for this tour, uploaded to Gonzalez’s YouTube channel, Gooden and Gonzalez also released a song titled “We Are Not the Same Person”.

Personal life

Gooden was born in North Carolina, and moved to Orlando, Florida when he was around two years old. He is married to Amanda Murphy, whom he met in 2015 when Murphy commented on one of Gooden’s Vines. They got engaged in 2016, and were later married on March 10, 2019.
