Tanyel Revan Wiki, Biography
Love Island season 9 will premiere on January 16 and will feature a new batch of singles heading to South Africa to find love. The singles featured on the show will live in a luxurious villa while interacting and courting each other. One of the contestants in the upcoming season is Tanyel Revan, who has a “weird phobia” of sharing drinks with others.
In an interview with the Birmingham Mail, he said: “Certain things can’t touch me and I can’t share drinks. I don’t like anything with milk. If milk touched my skin, it would make me feel so bad! I hate it!”
Tanyel Revan will appear in Love Island
One of the 10 contestants set to appear on the upcoming winter season of Love Island is Tanyel Revan, a 26-year-old hairdresser from north London who loves to travel.
The businesswoman owns her own salon, called Revan Salon, which is currently helping to raise funds for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Tune in Monday at 9 p.m. m. ET on ITV2 for the Love Island season 9 premiere.
Revan has personally donated $870 to the cause and has even taken to social media to help raise awareness for the same. The salon specializes in flat weft extensions, balayage dyes, and keratin treatments.
When asked by ITV what he would be bringing to the Love Island villa, he said: “Energy, confidence, I’m fun, loud, feisty, charismatic.”
Revan added that she is hard to come by, pretty and happy. Revan further described herself as loyal and said that she “loves” a man who knows how to dance.
The famous crush of hers is Channing Tatum because he “he’s manly and he can dance.” Speaking more about the type of men she is attracted to, the Love Island contestant stated that she doesn’t like pretty boys.
Tanyel Revan added:
“They [pretty boys] gross me out because they always have shitty personalities. Channing Tatum is handsome but not too pretty, he’s manly and can dance. If a man can dance, I’m in love with him right away.”
Contestants joining Tanyel in the upcoming season include Tanya Manhenga, Lara Jenkins, Anna-May Robey, Kai Fagan, Ron Hall, Will Young, Shaq Muhammad, Olivia Hawkins, and Haris Namani.
More about the show
The upcoming season will see the contestants stay at Ludus Magnus’ luxurious villa in Franschhoek, near Cape Town. Since the temperature is warmer there than in the UK, contestants won’t have to trade their swimsuits for jackets and sweaters.
Joining the contestants in the village will be Maya Jama, who will replace Laura Whitmore, Whitmore hosted the show for three previous seasons. In the next season of Love Island, contestants will have to follow additional rules. Existing rules include that contestants are prohibited from being violent or indulging in intimidation and inappropriate use of language.
The contestants are also prohibited from using drugs and have a strict limit on the amount of alcohol they can consume during filming. To keep the environment safe for everyone, they are required to be clothed at all times.
The Love Island contestants will not be allowed to wear name-brand clothing and will not have access to a watch. On top of this, a new rule requires your social media accounts to be inactive. The next season will premiere on January 16 at 9 p.m. m. ET on ITV2 and can also be broadcast on ITVX.
