In the clip, Haneline apparently forces Scarlett to get on camera and record the video. she screams:

“Sit down, now, come on, come on!”

As Scarlett flashes her face on camera, she then slides down to hide from the onlookers, almost crying and pleading with her mother:

I don’t want to be there.

After this, Haneline asks her to say goodbye to everyone, and Scarlett apologizes as she continues to cry. Although Haneline tells him “she’s fine” and stops filming, her expression and tone didn’t sit well with the viewers.

The video upset many netizens, who started a conversation about how parents often use their children to provide content on social media and earn money from it. Often, they do not take into account the consent of their children.

Netizens expressed their anger and disappointment with Haneline after the video surfaced online. Viewers believed her behavior strayed away from the channel’s goal of spreading positivity and changed her essence to toxicity. They blamed her for using Scarlett to gain influence, fame, and money.

Later, Tiania shared another TikTok video to clear the air. She attempted to explain how her daughter is a little disobedient at times, and so she needs to yell at her. Haneline said that she doesn’t ‘spank’ her daughter, so she ‘yells’ at her instead.
